Christoph Lindner has been the new "Edge" of U2fly since November 2019. He has been a sub for U2fly from time to time over the past few years and the band is delighted to have him on board now. Christoph has been a big fan of U2 since U2's performance at Rockpalast and has been working intensively on the sound of The Edge and U2 ever since. Christoph has now prepared intensively with the band, worked on sounds and rebuilt his rack again and, what can we say, he has an incredible sound. You will hear and experience it for yourself at the next concerts.

Of course we must not forget and mention that Christoph Lindner is an absolute professional guitarist and, in addition to his own releases, has worked on numerous productions as a studio musician and author. He produces his own instrumental CDs, currently “Groovin Bone Guitar”, and writes songs. He is the author of the song “Regenjacke” on the Tom Beck album “so wie es ist”. As a touring and studio guitarist he has worked with artists such as Andy Fraser, Michael Bolton, Bobby Kimball, Bernhard Purdie, Harvey Mason, Brian Bromberg, Marla Glenn, Marianne Rosenberg and many others, recorded jingles, trailers and film music for Sat1, Pro7, RTL, EMI, Universal and BMG and has played in numerous musical tours and theater productions such as Mamma Mia, Spamalot, Hairspray, Miami Nights, Ich will Spass, der kleine Horrorladen, Buntes Republik and the Rocky Horror Tour in Europe. He has played hundreds of workshops (tours in Germany, Austria and Switzerland) for various manufacturers such as Yamaha, Line 6, Randall, ESP, Eventide, Zoom and Nexi.

Christoph has been an endorser of the boutique amp and effects manufacturer Tonehunter since 2008.
